All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Idaho State Journal, Thursday, 03/22/01 SODA SPRINGS — Clinton Ray Nell, 69, of Soda Springs, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Roseburg, Oregon. He was born May 7, 1931, at Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of William Paul and Hattie Madgaline Gaines Nell. He married Lilli Marie Burton July 26, 1955, at Soda Springs, Idaho. He was raised and educated in Oklahoma. He was in the U.S. Army, serving in the Signal Corps during the Korean War. He was a deacon and elder in the Presbyterian Church. Clinton worked for NuWest Industries, retiring in 1988. His hobbies included archery, wood carving and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Lilli Marie, of Soda Springs; two daughters, Kathie Nell, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Julie and John Searle, Bozeman, Mont.; also three grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua and Melissa Searle; and two sisters, Juanita Lott and Emma Edgar. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 24, at noon at the Soda Springs Presbyterian Church. Friends may call on Friday evening, March 23, at the Sims Funeral Home from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to leaving for the church. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, with military graveside services by the American Legion Post 62.
