Oldfather Donald R. Oldfather, 65, of Amarillo, died Monday, Dec. 9, 1996. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. William Titus of Wesley Drive United Methodist Church officiating. Mr. Oldfather was born in Amarillo and had been a lifelong resident here. He graduated from Amarillo High School. He was an office attendant for Santa Fe Railway before retiring in 1993. He was a Methodist. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michele Caproni, in 1994. Survivors include a son, Donald R. Oldfather Jr. of Lincoln, Neb.; two daughters, Susanne Flewelling of Oklahoma City and Karyn Campbell of Madison Heights, Va.; a sister, Euna Rue Brady of Richardson; and seven grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society.
