He was born February 27, 1916 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Robert C. and Wilhelmina Paul. He graduated from New York University as an Electrical Engineer. He was employed by the Western Electric Company (later named Lucent Technologies) for 33 years retiring in 1976. He was an Eagle Scout, later serving as Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, District Chairman and other capacities and most recently on the Executive Board of the Last Frontier Council over a span of 75 years. An active member of Central Presbyterian Church, honored as Deacon Emeritis; volunteered with the Oklahoma Blood Institute, Brit-Vil Pantry, Presbyterian Urban Mission, Goodland Presbyterian Home, and Telephone Pioneers. Preceded in death by his parents and twin sisters, Henriette and Alvina Paul. Survived by wife Grace, of the home; sons Robert Jr. and his wife, Susan of Lexington Park, MD and David Alan and his wife Charolette of Little Rock, AR. Two granddaughters, Lindsey of Burlington, VT and Carrie of Lexington Park, MD. Memorial service will be on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Central Presbyterian Church, 5101 N. May Ave. Oklahoma City, 73112. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Central Presbyterian Window Fund at the above address in his name. CREMATION SOCIETY 1145 W.
