She was born on October 12, 1942 in Koblenz, Germany to Otto and Herta Geiss. She came to Oklahoma in 1958 and became a U.S. Citizen in 1965. She attended Midwest City High School and Rose State College. Ursula worked for the State of Oklahoma for 30 years. Upon retirement she traveled some in the U.S. and visited her family in Germany. Ursula enjoyed very much belonging to the TOPS Club, the Red Hat Society, the Midwest City Citizens' Police Academy, and the OKC Citizens' Fire Academy. Ursula was a people person and never met a stranger. She offered acts of kindness and friendship to everyone she encountered. She is survived by her mother, Herta Dexter, her brother, Oskar Dexter and her companion in life, Phillip L. Hunt for more than 25 years. The family would like to thank all the nurses of Midwest Home Health Services and Hospice Quality Care for their excellent care and their loving kindness given to Ursula. There will be a visitation at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home N.E. Chapel with internment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
