Mark Wesley Parks

PAMPA - Mark Wesley Parks, 36, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1998, in Weatherford, 
Okla.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral 
Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Fred Palmer, pastor of The 
Carpenter's Church, officiating.

Mr. Parks was born in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was raised in Michigan and 
moved to Pampa in 1984. He worked in various oil fields from 1984 to 1991 
and for Elliott Glass Co. in Pampa from 1991 to 1996. He was a member of 
Pampa Moose Lodge.

In 1996, he moved to Oklahoma City, where he was a glass cutter.

Survivors include three daughters, Amanda Parks, Kelly Parks and Brandy 
Parks, all of Amarillo; his parents, Raymond and Barbara Parks of Pampa; 
four sisters, Debora Parks of Pampa, Valerie Cole of Oklahoma City, 
Kathleen Kreger of Houston and Michelle Cole of Coldwater, Mich.; two 
brothers, Bart Parks and Scott Parks, both of Oklahoma City; grandmother, 
Vivian Sain of Alma, Mich.; and special friend, Laurie Helton of Oklahoma 
City.

The family requests memorials be to The Carpenter's Church building fund, 
639 S. Barnes, Pampa, Texas 79065.
