Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Rogers, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Warford-Walker Mortuary Inc., 509 N. Hughes St. Mr. Parker was born in Oklahoma City and had been a longtime Amarillo resident. He joined the Navy during the Korean War. He was employed by the city of Amarillo as a housing inspector. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Henry Ann Parker of Lubbock and Patsy Ann Stephenson of San Antonio; three stepdaughters, Diane Hernandez, Tina Brittain and Emily McSmith, all of Amarillo; two stepsons, Michael Lee Gonzalez of Amarillo and Jerry Gonzalez of Monrovia, Calif.; a sister, Pat Whitfield of Spencer, Okla.; and 15 grandchildren. The family will be at 917 N. Travis.
