All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Memorial Park Cemetery--OKC OK Pearson, Judith Kaye Carr Judith Kaye Carr Pearson, 64, of 6309 Blue Stem West Road, died Wednesday morning, November 17, 2004 at Baptist Integris Medical Center. A service of celebration will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Randall Faulkner will officiate. Judy was born April 30, 1940 to Forrest and LaVerne Carr in their Watonga home. Judy and older brother Larry were raised in the Watonga area, where Judy graduated from high school in 1957. Judy married Merlyn Neil Pearson on August 22, 1958 and they moved to Oklahoma City in 1962. Survivors include her husband, Merlyn of Oklahoma City, parents Forrest and LaVerne Carr of Watonga; a beloved daughter, Stacie Renee Pearson of Dallas; and a son and daughter-in-law Kyle and Leann Pearson of Allen, Texas along with Judy's three precious grandchildren Lauren Elizabeth, Taylor Kyle, and Harrison Young Pearson, and a multitude of dear relatives and friends. Judy was a Christian who loved the Lord and shared her faith in Bible study, women's ministries, and prayerful quiet time with her loving husband. One of her many favorite verses was 2 Timothy 2:10-13, 21-22. Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. both today and tomorrow at Vondel L. Smith & Son Funeral Home. The family gratefully requests that memorials in lieu of flowers be sent to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and its cancer research program (405)271-7400.
