Born to Ada Lee Smith and Walter Scott Quade November 28, 1924 in Oklahoma City. He was a 1943 graduate of Classen High School where he served as Drum Major. The day after graduation he was inducted into the United States Army. He served as Drum Major in the band at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. In 1946, he enrolled in Oklahoma City University also serving as Drum Major. He is preceded by his mother, father, and brother, Robert S. Quade. Survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart, Mary Kathryne; two daughters, Marcia Christofferson and husband David and Susie Gray and husband Tommy; four grandchildren, Ashley Christofferson Cunningham and husband Wiley, David (Dax) Christofferson, Jenny Gray, and Marianne Gray, and one great grandson Quade Cunningham. Four brothers in law Maury West, Tampa, Florida, William G. West, San Antonio, Texas, A. Kelly West, Lawton, Oklahoma, and Robert L. West, Dallas, Texas. He was employed by General Electric Company for 14 years before starting his own Electric Supply Company, Pyramid Supply, in 1959. The family wishes to thank the staff at Edmond Specialty Hospital and Mercy Hospice Nurse, Victoria. What a blessing for Mary Kay to have him almost 59 years, a gentle man who fought valiantly. We love you! Memorial service Sunday, January 18th at 4:00pm at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 2717 West Hefner Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Childrens Medical Research Institute or Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. CREMATION SOCIETY 1145 W.
