She was 78. Robins owned a small motel that included the Jenner Post Office for about 10 years before converting the business into Seagull Gifts for another 10 years before selling it in 1981. She was born near Oklahoma City, Okla. She moved to the Sonoma Coast from Oklahoma when she was about 25, according to her longtime friend, Nancy Wallace of Guerneville. When Robins moved to Jenner, her sister, Hazel Berg and brother-in-law, owned and operated the Jenner-By-The-Sea restaurant. Robins also helped at her sister's restaurant. "She was a fun-loving person, who cared about the businesses at Jenner," Wallace said. She also loved the ocean and western music. Robins also supported the Jenner Volunteer Fire Department and the Business Women of America. Besides her sister at Jenner and friend, she is survived by her brother, Warren Lackey of Redding. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Guerneville Redwood Chapel. Memorial donations are preferred to the Jenner Fire Department. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Oklahoma County Archives: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ok/oklahoma/oklahoma.html
