Born September 11, 1913, in Moundville, MO, he was 89 years old. Prior to his retirement in 1975, he was the Traffic Control Director for the City of Oklahoma City. Married for 61 years, his wife, Mahota "May" Navarre, passed away in March 2000. His only daughter, Sharon Patricia Robinson died in 1999. He is survived by two sons, Thomas Mitchell of Anchorage, Alaska, and Jack Randall and his wife B.J. of Edmond, and two grandchildren, Jim M. Robinson and Whitney K. Robinson. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 28, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A devotee of the western horseman, "Jim" or "PopR" would choose, in lieu of flowers, donations to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. VONDEL L. SMITH & SON MORTUARY 13125 N.
