All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ Robertson, Edrie Lucille Rogers (Auntie) Edrie Lucille (Auntie) Rogers Robertson came into this world on December 4th, 1908 and was embraced by her Lord and taken home on December 2nd, 2003. Edrie had a full life of 95 years and was an inspiration to all whose lives she touched with her quick smile and impeccable manner and dress. Born in Arcadia Oklahoma and raised in Edmond, she moved to the Village after her marriage to the love of her life, John F. Robertson in 1953. An accomplished seamstress and tailor she and John enjoyed many years working together daily in the dry cleaning industry. Edrie was a long time member of the Britton Baptist Church. Known affectionately by her family and friends as 'Auntie' she was preceded in death her devoted husband 'Johnny', her parents Henry Edith and Joseph Thomas Rogers and her sisters, Selma Van Kampen and Lilliebelle Roberts. 'Auntie' is survived by her sister, Shirley Tevebaugh; nieces, Cindy Smith and Sherry Brown of Edmond, OK, her nephews, Don Roberts of Stillwater, OK, Leonard J. Tevebaugh of Fallbrook, CA, Jack W. Tevebaugh of Stillwater, OK and their respective families including many great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces ad nephews all whom were close to their 'Auntie'. The family would like to extend a special 'thank you' to the employees of Bryant Nursing Home who gave such loving and attentive care and to the members of the Hospice Center of Edmond for their caring love and prayers. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2003 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond.
