Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in the Oakridge Church of Christ with Mark Young and Bob Brandon officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. today in Crossroads Cemetery, southeast of Ranger. Arrangements are by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. Mr. Roberts was born in Oklahoma City and attended Abilene Christian University and Texas Tech University. He moved to the Abilene area from Sonora 16 years ago. He was a lead operator for Lone Star Energy of Sweetwater. He supervised the construction and operation of numerous refineries and pipelines throughout the West Texas and Eastern New Mexico areas. He married Cevellia Carolyn Woods in 1955 at Eastland County. He was a member of the Oakridge Church of Christ and a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bailey Hal Roberts of Abilene, Kolton Ross Roberts of Olney and Gregory Dallas Roberts of Bellingham, Wash.; a daughter, Cevellia Alatha Roberts of Merkel; two brothers, Clifford Roberts of Amarillo and Bobby Roberts of Mansfield; a sister, Anna Cotton of Mineral Wells; and 11 grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Oklahoma County Archives: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ok/oklahoma/oklahoma.html
