All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Frisco Cemetery--Yukon OK Rose, Donald Louis Donald Louis Rose, 71, of OKC, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 23, 2003. He was born to Joseph and Florence Weber Rose in Yukon on Nov. 15, 1931. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Yukon High School in 1949. Don served his country in the Navy as a submariner on the USS Grampus during the Korean War. He worked in agriculture sales designing and selling pivot systems for Merveldt Irrigation in El Reno. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers John P. and Jack W. Rose, also George, Bonnie Rose Wiser and Bill Rose. Living with his loving memory are his wife of 46 years, Peggy, sons Michael of OKC, Joseph of FWB FL, and Don & wife Cathy, and the loves of his life, grandsons Hunt & Gibson Rose all of Enid, his brother Robert A. "Buck" & wife Eloise Rose of Yukon and also many nieces, nephews and friends. Don was devoted to his wife and family, he was a loving father, grandfather and best friend to his sons. His sweet and gentle spirit will remain forever in our hearts and lives. Funeral services will be held Thurs. Feb. 27 at 2 PM in the Smith & Turner Chapel with burial in Frisco Cemetery, north of Yukon. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 601 Maple, Yukon, OK 73099. SMITH-TURNER 201 E.
