Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bell Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Claud Tugwell, retired Baptist minister, and the Rev. Danny Logan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Rich was born in Quinton, Okla. She graduated in 1940 from Blanchard High School at Blanchard, Okla., and attended Draughon's Business School. She married Van Rich in 1942 at Oklahoma City. They moved to Amarillo from Oklahoma City in 1969. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Bell Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; a son, Garry Rich of Amarillo; a daughter, Becky Baker of Amarillo; three sisters, Helen Lane of Del City, Okla., Ilene Boyd of Midwest City, Okla., and Geneva Alexander of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Fred Basden Jr. of Oklahoma City and Bill Basden of Houston; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the American Cancer Society or Bell Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will be at 5117 Matador Trail.
