He was born to Ervin & Mary (Fowler) Ragsdale on May 16, 1922 in Chandler, OK. He was a WWII Army veteran and retired from civil service at Tinker AFB. He came to Spencer in Feb. of 1967 and previously lived in Chandler, OK. Oliver enjoyed doing tractor work preparing many peoples gardens and mowing of acreages. He loved to go fishing and whittling. Oliver married Margie B. Grandstaff on April 20, 1946 in Edmond, OK. He is survived by his wife Margie of the home, 3 sons: Don & wife Sherry of Seminole, Troy & wife Cindy, and Doyle & wife Barbara both of Spencer, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brother Carl Ragsdale of Tahlequah, OK, 3 sisters: Edith Wilson of Tecumseh, OK, Sylvia Holland of Spencer, OK, and Syble Tetirick of Chandler, OK, and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son David, grandson Troy Joseph, and brother JR Ragsdale. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday 11/30/2002 at the Barnes & Johnson F.H. Chapel with burial at Star Valley Cemetery in Warwick, OK. Barnes & Johnson F.H. 1820 S.
