All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Obit for William "Bill" Reisdorph William "Bill" Reisdorph William "Bill" Reisdorph, 77, of Amarillo died Saturday, June 15, 2002, in Albuquerque, N.M. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 S. Bell St., with Alan Burkhalter of Chaparral Hills Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Reisdorph was born Nov. 26, 1924, in Haddon, Okla. He married Grace Earleen McElhiney on Jan. 13, 1944, in Oklahoma City. He was an educator, coach and administrator. He began his career in Dimmitt and 17 years later moved to Hartley. He was in Hartley for 18 years and was involved in the school and community. He retired and moved to Amarillo, where he volunteered his time as a coach or spectator. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1990. Survivors include a son, Billy Reisdorph of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a daughter, Bonnie Monden of Amarillo; a sister, Marcena Springer of Arlington; and four grandchildren.
