Royster, Carol E.

Carol E. Royster, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died peacefully in her sleep 
at her home on August 16th, 2005. She is survived by niece, Susan Gurthet 
of South Bend, Indiana, nephew, Richard Royster of St. John, Indiana, and 
many friends. Carol was born in Chicago, Illinois on Aug 21, 1930. She 
graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Music Education. 
She also had a degree in Cosmetology. She taught piano for a short time, 
and then joined the Marine Corps. Carol was a resident of Oklahoma City 
for the past 45 years, and worked at L&S Bearing from 1962 to 1995. There 
will be an informal gathering in Carol's front yard (2041 NW 20th, OKC, 
OK) on Sunday, Aug 28th at 7 p.m. to celebrate her life. In lieu of 
flowers, please send donations to Second Chance Animal Sanctuary in 
Norman, or Free to Live in Edmond to honor Carol's love for her four-
footed friends.
