Eloise M., 81, passed away Monday, March 3, 2003 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born September 30, 1921 in Arkansas to Charles Alva and Elva Luticia (Chenault) Sharp. She was united in marriage to Dossie L. Rogers and together they owned and operated Rogers Upholstery. Eloise retired from the OKC Board of Education after more than 30 years of faithful employment She was a lifetime member of Exchange Avenue Baptist Church and was currently a member of the Bethany Sunday School Class. Eloise was very family oriented and cherished her nieces and nephews and thought of them as her own. She especially treasured her relationship with her great-great nieces, Emma Mills and Jasmine Bryan. She is survived by one sister, Bonnie J. Bryan of OKC; two nephews, Lindel Bryan and wife Vickie of OKC and Charles Sharp and wife Benna of OKC; one niece, Phyllis Mabus and husband Bill of Texas; great nephews and nieces, Jerome Bryan, Regina Mills, Scott and Phillip Sharp, Ricky Mabus, and Jennifer Warren; and great-great nieces, Emma Mills and Jasmine Bryan. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Dossie L. Rogers.Memorials may be made to the Exchange Avenue Baptist Church Seniors Program. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 6, 2003 at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
