Obit for O.C. Rickard

O.C. Rickard

PERRYTON - O.C. Rickard, 87, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, in Maud,
Okla.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Ochiltree Cemetery with
Elmer Delozier officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral
Home.

Mr. Rickard was a mechanic and owner of Perryton Safety Lane for 30 years.
He worked with Sheriff Ray Phagan as a special deputy and volunteer fireman.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Rickard of Crowley and Tom Rickard of
Maud; a daughter, Brenda Griffin of Perryton, Okla.; a sister, Edith of
Russellville, Ark.; a brother, Billy Rickard of Oklahoma City; eight
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to Ochiltree Hospice, 3101 Garrett Drive,
Perryton, TX 79070.
