All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Rose Hill Burial Park--OKC OK Radel, Thelma Eugene (Collins) Thelma Eugene (Collins), long time resident of Oklahoma City died February 4, 2003. Born February 1, 1909 in Eddy, Oklahoma moved to Higgins, Texas in 1911. She attended school in Higgins until 1926 when the family moved to Oklahoma City. Thelma graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1927. She went to work for S.H. Kress & Co., in 1928 until 1952 as cashier and Personnel Manager. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church since 1936. Married Joseph F. Radel, D.C. in 1940. She was president of the Women's Auxiliary to the Chiropractic Association of Oklahoma in 1954 and again in 1960. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Joseph F. Radel of the home, two nieces, Connie Sue Sims and Cathryn Ann Moore both of Oklahoma City, OK; two great nephews, Jeffrey C. Moore of Yukon, OK, M. Douglas Moore of Lexington, OK; two great nieces, Toni Gail Ward of Yukon, OK and Callie M. Moore of Ft. Worth, TX. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2003 at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel. Interment in Rose Hill Burial Park following cremation at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Oklahaven Children's Center, 4500 N. Meridian, Oklahoma City 73112. The family would like to express their heart-felt gratitude to Manor Care and Preferred Hospice for all the loving care they have shown to Thelma.
