All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Riley, Marguerite Ralston 1921 - 2005 Marguerite Ralston Riley, 83, a retired registered nurse, died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at a local care center. Memorial Eucharist: 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church, the Rev. Fred Barber celebrant. Marguerite Ralston Riley was born Aug. 14, 1921, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She spent most of her childhood in Tennessee. In 1937, her family moved to Fort Worth, where she graduated from Paschal High School. Upon graduation, she pursued a career in nursing, attending Harris School of Nursing and TCU. Mrs. Riley served in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II and was a first lieutenant. After military service, she worked at All Saints Hospital for over 20 years. In 1952, she married William C. "Dub" Riley Jr. Mrs. Riley was a charter member of the Fort Worth Architects' Wives Club and a member of the Lady Lions. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Ralston. Survivors: Husband of 52 years, William C. "Dub" Riley; daughter, Cynthia Riley of Burleson; brother, John Ralston and his wife, Dorothy, of Garland; and cousins, nephews and nieces.
