All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::IOOF cemetery--Jones OK Ray, Nancy Jeanne Nancy Jeanne, 49, Houston, Texas died suddenly on November 19, 2002 from a brain aneurysm. She was preceded in death by her father, David E. Ray. She is survived by her mother, Jeanne Ray, brother David Ray and wife Mardi, sister Linda Sisco and husband Jimmie. She is also survived by a niece Carrie Ray, nephews Ryan Hunter, Mickey Ray, Dean and Craig Sisco all of Oklahoma City. Nancy received a degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University in 1975; she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She also earned her Certified Compensation Professional Certification in 1994. Nancy joined Kerr-McGee Coal in June of 1976, and transferred to the corporate Human Resources Division's Recruiting Department in 1981. In December of 1998 Nancy moved to Houston to work full time for the Oil and Gas unit most recently as Human Resource manager. Nancy's fellow employees and friends are saddened deeply by her passing, and she will be missed greatly. In her own words, she was 'dedicated and devoted to the people and the task.' With her approachability and HR experience and knowledge, she was a true 'go-to' person. Living and working in a hotbed of mostly Sooner, Longhorn and Aggie fans, Nancy remained an outspoken supporter of her OSU Cowboys and followed many sporting events as time and distance would allow. Along with cheering for OSU her passions were for her work at Kerr McGee, her family and friends and decorating her home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 23rd at 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 2717 W. Hefner Rd., Oklahoma City, with interment to follow at the IOOF cemetery in Jones, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church or the Oklahoma State University Scholarship Fund, they may be mailed to the OSU Foundation, P.O. Box 1749, Stillwater, OK 74076, indicating in memory of Nancy Ray.
