She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on Aug. 25, 1942 and entered the home of Cass and Glenola Curtis. She moved with her family to California at a young age and was raised here most of her life with her older brother, Ronald. Joyce married Archie Ringstaff and enjoyed the rest of her life being a Navy wife and raising three children. She was active in her childrens lives through church and Boy and Girl Scouts. She was very active in church activities in her local church - Oxnard Church of the Nazarene. She sang in the choir, was a member of a quartet group for the church, was a Sunday school secretary, and chairwoman for the Woman's Ministries. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cass and Glenola Curtis; stepmom, Dorothy Curtis; and brother, Ronald Curtis. She survived by her husband, Archie Ringstaff; daughters, Janet Keathley, Ginger Sharp, Cathy Morgan (Gary), Glenola Ringstaff, Laura Wellner, and Mellisa Hopkins (David); sons, Marvin Inman (Mona) and William Ringstaff. She leaves behind nine grandsons, four granddaughters and two great granddaughters, who will miss her very much. She will also be missed by the many nieces and nephews and friends whose lives she has touched over the years. Viewing will be at Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes on Thursday, May 25 1pm to 8pm. Funeral service will be held at Green Hills Mortuary on Friday, May 26 at 11am with interment to follow.
