Charlotte Seibel

BOOKER - Charlotte "Lottie" Seibel, 90, a former Booker resident, died 
Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Bethany, Okla.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Heart Cemetery in 
Booker with the Rev. Monte Kreis officiating. Arrangements are by Good 
Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.

Mrs. Seibel was born in Fairview, Okla., and grew up in Booker. She 
married George K. Seibel in 1925. They resided in Dalhart then moved to a 
farm near Booker. In the 1950s and 1960s, they lived in Perryton where she 
operated the Seibel Truck Stop. The Seibels then made their home in 
Booker.

Mrs. Seibel was a member of the United Methodist Church in Booker. She 
also was a member of the Homemakers and Garden clubs.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980 and by a son, Carl, and 
two daughters, Luella Mowels and Dorothy Case.

Survivors include a son, Leroy Seibel of Oklahoma City; a brother, Johnny 
Buxmon of Texas City, Colo.; a sister, Sophie Born of Follett; 10 
grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four greatgreat-grandchildren.
