Schaben, Bessie Bernice (Bernie)

BESSIE BERNICE (BERNIE), 72, of Oklahoma City died April 21, 2003. Bessie 
and Kenneth were married for 55 years. She loved cooking, garage sales, 
gardening and china painting. She was a china painting instructor, held 
offices at various times in Tinker-MidDel china painter club, a member of 
the world organization of china painters, also, she taught classes every 
Tuesday for advanced students. Bessie is survived by husband, Kenneth of 
the home; daughter, Karen and sons, Chris, Andy and Matt; sisters June and 
Bonnie; and brothers Ben & John. She is preceded in death by her parents, 
John & Sadie Dirck; son, John; two brothers, Bill & Bob. Services will be 
held at 9:00 AM, Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at Saint Andrews Catholic 
Church, Moore and interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Pryor, OK. 
Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & 
Chapel.
