Scott, died Sunday, July 18, 1993. Arthur owned and operated the Scott Printing Company at 311 West Third in Oklahoma City. He was publisher of "The News Bulletin", a weekly newspaper used by over 20 Oklahoma City churches. Arthur attended Correll College in Ames, Iowa; and, as a young man, was very active in the YMCA, where he accepted Christ in a Bible Study. He married Dorothy Jane Wing on Nov. 20, 1920. She preceded him in death in 1975. His hobbies were literature, poetry, and tennis. He was Church Treasurer for many years at Northwest Baptist Church and, at the time of his death, was a member of Baptist Temple. He is survived by four sons, Arthur W., Jr., Kenneth W. and Gerald G., all of Oklahoma City, Rev. Don N. of Wichita, Ks.; a daughter, Eleanor Whitner of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Raymond of Blue Springs, Missouri and Robert of Sycamore, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the church of your choice.
