Minnie was a wonderful wife and mother, and especially grandmother who will live in the hearts and lives of those she touched. She dedicated her life to her family and found pleasure daily in the activities of her children and grandchildren. She was born December 17, 1914 in Saddler, TX to Gertrude and William Ross. She grew up in Apache, OK, meeting her soulmate, Blake, her husband of 50 + years. She was a member of Wickline United Methodist Church, a life member of WSCS, a pre-school teacher at St. Matthews Methodist Church at one time, a volunteer at many school and church functions while her children were growing up. After the death of her husband, she moved to Autumn House where she made many good an caring friends. She moved into Midwest City Nursing Home after frequent falls and declining health. She is preceded in death by her husband, Blake, her parents, brothers, sisters, and daughter in law, Jacquie Scott. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Payne and husband, Larry; daughter, Linda Hodge and husband, Wayne; son John Scott, daughter, Diedre Williams and husband, Chuck; and son, Bob and wife, Becky. Minnie is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and her precious roommate at Midwest City Nursing Home, Ray Fowler. Our heartfelt thanks to her caregivers at the nursing home. Burial will be Friday, August 26, 2005, at Arlington Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Wickline United Methodist Church.
