All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ Siddiqui, Carol Ann Carol Ann Siddiqui of Jones went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, Nov. 14, 2003. She was born in Choctaw on Jan. 20, 1942 to George and Bertha Seebeck. At the age of 13, acknowledging her sin and guilt in the sight of a Holy God, she found eternal life and salvation through faith alone in Jesus Christ, who died for her and rose again victoriously from the dead. Carol grew up on her parent's farm on a diet of hard work and lots of fun with her siblings, George, Norma and Charlene. The girls were avid basketball players and Carol's team made it to the Regional Final. She graduated from Jones H.S. and continued education at OSU where she met a charming young man from far away India. The romance led to her marriage with Jamil in April '64 and they both graduated the same year. A belated honeymoon in '67 was memorable; it was her first time to meet Jamil's parents in India. When their first child Jamal was born in '69, Carol's character shined as she chose to raise her family as her profession. A very gracious person, she often hosted a full house of relatives and friends and delighted them with her superb cooking. She enjoyed inviting Jamil's NATO foreign liaison officers and their families for holiday celebrations, especially the 4th of July. She had a great love for the Lord and His Word and she loved people; a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Choctaw since '78. She enjoyed greatly: family vacations, skiing, riding horses at the farm, singing, quilting, sewing, making dolls and stuffed animals for kids/ grandkids, collecting antiques, making Western boots and reading magazines for ideas in home decorating. She always had a kind word for everyone. Our beloved Carol is survived by her dear husband Jamil, father, George Seebeck Sr., children, Jamal, Hassan, Neena (Coloney), 8 grandchildren, brother, George Jr., and sisters, Norma (Lee) and Charlene (Bynum). Our family is very grateful for the dedicated and loving care to Mom from Dr. Mahmood, Mercy Hospice, Pastor Sikes and the faithful nursing team: Kama, Laura, Louise, Paulita, Peggy and Tammi. Heartfelt thanks for all the support from friends, for all the meals and for all the prayers. Everyone is invited to a Graveside Service at Jones IOOF Cemetery on Wed 9AM, a Memorial Service at the lst Baptist Church of Choctaw at 11 AM and a Reception to follow. Viewing is Tues 8AM to 9PM at Ford Funeral Service. Please send flowers to the same location. A scholarship fund will be opened in Carol's name. Ford Funeral Service 305 S.
