She was born June 20, 1914, to Edna and J.D. Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Ed; her husband, Roy; 1 daughter, Joanne; and her son-in-law, David Johnston. She is survived by 1 sister, Leona Williams of Pryor; 1 daughter, Barbara Johnston of Edmond; 3 grandsons: Charles Stanfill Johnston and John Mark Johnston, both of Tulsa, and David Paul Johnston of Hanover, MD; 6 great-grandchildren: Brian, Daniel, Ross, Chris, Alexandra and Ashlei; and numerous family and friends who loved her dearly and will miss her. Born in Duke, OK, Lois graduated from Tuttle, OK, High School. She met Roy her husband of 62 years, in 1934 in Oklahoma City. The couple rode the roller coaster at Spring Lake Amusement Park on their first date and were married 6 weeks later residing in Oklahoma City all their married life, the Stanfills were members at various times of Culbertson Heights Church of Christ, Mayfair Church of Christ, and finally Memorial Road Church of Christ. Lois was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and provided much love, dedication, and cherry cobbler to so many who were dear to her heart. Viewing is at Baggerly Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (13313 N. Kelley). Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM, Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at Memorial Road Church of Christ (2221 E.
