Stewart, Ethwyn Ruth
 
Ethwyn Ruth, 89, a lifelong resident of OKC, was born Oct. 22, 1912. She 
died July 14, 2002 in OKC, OK. Ethwyn, daughter of Charles Edward & Sara 
Maude (Ervin) Kaufman, was a member of the South Central Church of Christ. 
Ethwyn and her husband, Lee Ander Stewart, dedicated their lives to 
serving the Lord and preaching the gospel in the field of ministry. They 
were always very involved in helping others that were sick by visiting and 
taking them food. For over 30 years, Ethwyn volunteered at Southwest 
Medical Center, where she was honored as Volunteer of the Month. Preceded 
in death by her parents and her husband, Lee Stewart on April 19, 1999. 
She is survived by her daughter, Myrna & husband, Bill Sandlin of OKC; 
sister, Olive Arther of Escondido, CA; grandchildren: Greg Mitchell, Greg 
Sandlin & wife, Cleta, and Kathy & husband, Randy Cooper, and their 
families; loving caregiver, Pat Bergeron, and many other close relatives, 
including nieces, nephews, and many friends. Services to celebrate her 
life will be held 10:00 AM Wed. July 17, 2002 at Oakcrest Church of
