Life long resident of Oklahoma City; born March 14, 1924; graduated from Classen High School in 1941; she attended Lindenwood College for one year; and received her degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma University in 1944. She was a Communicant member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, serving in numerous capacities for over 50 years. She was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma for 60 years, and a founding member of PEO, Chapter FX. Her volunteer activities included Casady School, Westminster School, Childrens Memorial Hospital and numerous others. Predeceased by parents, E.W.H. and Susie Mae Falter; and her sister, Mary Elizabeth Falter Avery. Survived by sons John, his wife Mary Sue; Steve, his wife Laural and grandchildren: Brad, Laura Furnish and her husband Ryan, Michael, Bart, Scott, Ryan and Jason Shelley. The family wishes to recognize her many life long friends, including Pete. Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 20 at 2:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, or recipient of donors' choice. 'Burn what is left of me and scatter the ashes to the winds to help the flowers grow. If you must bury something let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all the prejudice against my fellow man. Give my sins to the devil. Give my soul to God. If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do all I have asked, I will live forever.'
