Norman Transcript 28 Jul 2003 Lula M Sullivan Lula Mae Sullivan, 88, of Madill died Saturday, July 26, in Ardmore following a brief illness. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Primrose Chapel in Norman with Elder Mary Jane Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Mrs. Sullivan was born Aug. 5, 1914, in Wagoner to Thomas Ketch and Clarissa (Covey) Ketch. She married James Acalee Sullivan in 1932, and the couple was married for 69 years at the time of Mr. Sullivan's death on Feb. 25, 2001. Mrs. Sullivan eventually moved to Oklahoma City. She and her husband owned and operated Sullivan's Shoe Repair until their retirement. After retirement, Mrs. Sullivan moved to Cumberland Cove at Lake Texoma, where she enjoyed attending to her flowers and being around her family and friends that she loved dearly. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Del City. Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters, Nina Bayliss and Bonnie Freeman. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by two sons, Howard L. Sullivan and James L.
