Smith, 78, of Oklahoma City, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 8, 2002, at a local area hospital. She was born on February 27, 1924, in Wynnewood. She was a devoted wife and companion, to her husband, Gerald Smith, for 40 years. She was a very loving, giving and a devoted grandma. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Smith and husband, Ed. Helen is also survived by 1 sibling, Bill Williams and wife, Alice. She is survived by 4 wonderful grandchildren, Marcus Henderson and wife, Marcia, Mary Collins and husband, William, Denise Bakken and husband, Alan, and Dale Henderson; 14 great grandchildren, Vanessa Caldwell and husband, Chris, Sabrina, Felicia, Elicia and Jonathan Collins, Dustin and Paula Sharp, April Sharp, Megan Hoig, Judy Akey, Eddy and Viola Smith, Chris, Jason and Ashley Henderson; 9 great great grandchildren, Brady and Faith Caldwell, Kami and Tristan Sharp, Sutton Smith, Viola's 1 son, Judy's 2 daughters and Hailey Sharp. She will be missed by her good friends, Ray and Phyllis Nelson and Carolyn Brewer, Marclee Collins. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Smith, her brother, Gene Williams, and 2 great great granddaughters, Kailey Sharp and Melanie Henderson. She will be loved and greatly missed by her many loved ones and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2002, at 10:00 AM, at Sunny Lane Cemetery, with Rev. Richard Olsen of Okla. City officiating, under the direction of Baggerley South Funeral Home. Baggerley South 5708 S.
