She was born February 24, 1910 across the street from a newly opened Kamps Grocery. She was the daughter of Roy E. Alleyne graduated from Central High school in 1927, and Pine Manor Jr. College in 1929. She was affiliated with Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at the University of Oklahoma. In 1934 Alleyne married Charles Andrew Schweinle, Jr. son of another prominent banker and businessman. Both Alleyne's father and father-in-law were instrumental in founding Fidelity National Bank, the predecessor to the Bank of Oklahoma. The Schweinles had come to Oklahoma in the year of the run, 1889. Charles A. Schweinle, Jr. followed his father into banking and joined Albert Schabel in forming the insurance company of Schweinle-Schabel. Alleyne is preceded in death by her husband Charles who died in 1986. She is survived by her son Charles Andrew III and wife Sally Herrmann Schweinle, daughter Susan Schweinle Denman and husband Peter, seven grand children including Charles Andrew Schweinle IV (Chad), Margo Schweinle Weger and husband Larry, Laura Schweinle, Ann Marie Schweinle Grinder and husband Wayne, Christopher MacDonald Denman and wife Tara, Anne Carolyne Denman and Elizabeth Poki'i Denman Eslamiyeh and husband Reza, four great grandchildren, Laurie, Chase, Zachary and D'Wayne, and four step-grandchildren. In 1979 she and her daughter co-founded with Dorothy Moore and her daughter Dale Mullin, DOROTHY MOORE'S a woman's apparel store. For ten years she danced competively with Dance Magic Studio. Her family would like to give special thanks to Barbara Reeves for her loving care and companionship, to Dana Biglow and the splendid care provided at The Mansion at Waterford and to Frontier Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations could be made to The Guild of St. George, an Episcopal outreach service at St. Paul's Cathedral or to a private charity of choice. A memorial Eucharist will be held on Friday at 4pm at St. Paul's Cathedral.
