Frederick B., age 79, of Oklahoma City, born August 11, 1923 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Olive and Frederick Baldwin. One daughter and one sister preceded him. Fred served in WWII Army Air Force as Technical Sergeant 401st Bombardment Squad (H) and 95th Bombardment Group (H) received the distinguished Flying Cross. He attended college, was an accomplished musician (Bass), Hotel Manager, and Founder of American Vinyl Repair. Survived by his devoted wife, Judy Summers; four sons, John and Jeff Hartley, OK, Charles and Fred Summers, IL; one daughter Nancy Meeusen, MI; two grandchildren Sierra Hartley, OK, Brian Summers, IL; one brother Ewing Baldwin and wife, Marlene, AZ; niece, Kathryn Glassbrenner, VA; nephew, Gene Baldwin, IL; sister-in-law, Barbara Frogge; nieces, Debbie Finigan, Pam Gornes and nephew Sydney DeJarnett, TX. He went to be with the Lord, 09-17, after battling cancer for several years. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00, Saturday, 09-21- 2002, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, with interment to following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
