All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Short Jr., Scott Albert Scott Albert Short Jr., 70, an Honorably Discharged Navy veteran from the Korean Conflict and retired employee from Tinker Air Force Base, Base Contracting died Tuesday afternoon of complications with pneumonia. He was born January 25, 1933 in Crescent, Oklahoma to Cula Mae & Scott Short Sr. Scott attended Oklahoma State University and received his associate"s degree in engineering. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Scott Daniel "Danny" Short. Scott was a lifetime Member of the Choctaw Round-up Club and a lifetime member of the Midwest City Masonic Lodge. Scott was also an avid fisherman and hunter. His favorite times of the year were in the spring when the bass were spawning and the early fall for his annual trip to the deer woods. He was never concerned with the results of his trips, he just enjoyed the outdoors and the company of his good friends who shared the same interest. Scott is survived by his wife of 46 years Patricia (Pat) of the home; a daughter, Pamela Wyatt and husband Steve of Newalla; a granddaughter, Kelly Wyatt of Newalla; a grandson, Aaron Wyatt and wife Julie of Dallas; four aunts, Claudine and husband. Jake Amberg of Cushing, Verna Swain of Enid, Margaret Lovelace of Plaquemine, La., Betty Shurley of Newcastle, Wyoming and numerous relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., today at the funeral home chapel with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
