Scott, a very loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother and great friend, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001. She was surrounded by her loved ones and departed peacefully to rest with the Lord. Charlene was born April 15, 1928 in Haskell, OK to Lola & Charles Dykes. She was married to Boyd E. Scott on January 26, 1947 in OKC and shared a wonderful marriage for 53 years. Together they own & operated a successful business, Scott's Glass & Specialties Inc. in Norman, OK. Some of her favorite activities were Horse races, Bingo, bowling and being pampered weekly at the beauty shop. Not to mention, she was a very enthusiastic Sooner fan. Her favorite pastimes include: vactioning in Vegas, spending time with her grandkids and enjoying a waltz with her husband. She has left her family and friends with many special memories to cherish forever. She is survived by her mother, Lola Dancy; husband, Boyd E. Scott; her adoring daughters, Linda Good, and Terry Ward and husband, Jim; son, Charles Scott and wife Debi. She has 6 grandchildren Tracy McCoy and husband Scott, Tiffany Dick and husband Chance, Travis Scott, Tara Ellis, Allen Ellis and Delana Hodgkins and husband, Rick; great granddaughter, Lauren Hodgkins. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Dykes and step-father Lee Dancy, son-in-law, Danny Good, gradson, Derek Scott and granddaughter Davi Ellis.
