She was born June 24, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was married to John Spear, of Emmett Idaho, on May 31, 1967 in Kansas City, Kan. Juanita was a fierce lover of life. She was a professional cook at Boise State University and even cooked for Vice President Ford. Her many joys in life included Christ, her family and yard-sales. Juanita worked on the floats for the Rose Bowl parade for many years and enjoyed herself immensely. She found pleasure in the simple things in life, a beautiful sunset, a rainbow or the mountains. She loved her family unconditionally and was a devoted mother and wife who fought fiercely for her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents John Sperbeck and Constance Workman and a son Jared Robair Spear. Her surviving relatives are her husband John R Spear of Deaver, Wyo. her children Larissa and Bryan Schultz of Middleton Idaho, Reno Spear of Venice Calif. and Maranatha Dee Spear of Deaver, Wyo., two brothers Martin and Robert Sperbeck of Oklahoma City Okla., and three beloved grandchildren, Daniel and Jared Schultz and Katie Leigh Spear. Funeral services will be held at the Valley Shepherd Church located at 52 E. Idaho Avenue, Meridian Idaho on Friday Jan. 12, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to the American Heart Association.
