He was born to Vaclav & Antonia Benes Stropnicky, in Cleveland, OH, on July 18, 1909. He retired after 42 years as an investigative accountant for the United Sates G.A.O. Yaro was a member of The First Baptist Church of Midwest City since 1948, and a Lifemaster of The American Contract Bridge League since 1979 with 700 extra points. In September, he won in the Regional Contract Bridge Tournament in Wichita, Kansas in Flight A knockout team. He was a Mason with the Midwest City Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite & India Shrine. Yaro was a golfer, a bowler and loved horse racing. In January 2002, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lorraine Humphries and also two sisters, Bertha and Louise. He is survived by his wife, Fay Porter Stropnicky of the home; 2 nieces, Ruth Pokorny & Norma Eckhoff of Garfield Heights, OH; sister-in-law, Ann Kielsmeier of Midwest City, OK; 1 step-son, Jeffrey Porter of Houston, TX; 1 step-dau- ghter, Amy Paluscsak of Wadsworth, OH; & 4 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at The First Baptist Church of Midwest City, 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 22, 2002. Memorial donations may be made to The Bell Childers Foundation, 921 S.
