All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Taylor IV, William Wallace (Bill) William Wallace (Bill) Taylor, IV, 87, died June 27, 2002, in Palm Desert, CA where he has made his home for 20 years. He was born September 24, 1914, to William Wallace Taylor, III, and Betty Brown Taylor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Central High School and attended Oklahoma City University. He was an experimental test pilot and parts designer in the aviation field for 40 years. He was a member of the Quiet Birdmen, Experimental Test Pilots Association, BPOE, and the Lakes Golf and Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Bette Jo Taylor, 5031 Hillsboro Rd. #101, Nashville, TN 37215; his two daughters, Toni Erickson of Enumclaw, Washington, Tinker Richards of Sebring, Florida; his three sons, William Wallace Taylor V of Austin, Texas, Tracy N. Taylor of Brenham, Texas, and Regan R. Taylor of Plano, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Tafida Farida Taylor, in 1997. Graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on September 21, 2002, at 11:00 AM. The family suggest memorials be sent to Make A Wish Foundation.
