Taylor died suddently from cancer 7/7/02. 'Mick' Taylor, 52, was born and grew up in Oklahoma City. He resided in California the last 20 years most recently in San Jose. He was a writer and public relations consultant. His accomplished includes positions as PR manager and VP for companies such as AMI, Care Vision, and most recently, Artho Care of San Jose. Michael, a passionate writer, authored screenplays, a novel, business publications, PR copy all over the world, and was working on his second novel. He's been published in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Redbook, Readers Digest, Esquire and others. He graduated from Central Oklahoma State University with a journalism major and began his career as a reporter with the Daily Oklahoman, then politics and served on in staff positions in the U.S. Congress. Mick is loved and missed by his family including father, Mack Taylor, sister, Jan Taylor-Wyer and her husband, Craig, and brother, Merle Taylor, all of Palm Springs, CA and brother Mack Taylor, Jr. and wife, Connie of El Paso, TX and nieces, Meredith and Amanda, and nephew Tod Taylor, and former wife, Jane Norley. He was engaged to a lovely Brit, Carol Peterson of San Francisco. A world traveler, collector of fine art, dog lover, devoted to his family and friends, Mick was an intelligent light in the world.
