James R. Tims was born April 16, 1928 in Belton, Texas and died February 3, 2003. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 1988. Survivors include his wife Dorothy of the home, son; Rick and wife Radonna of Owasso, daughter; Kathy and husband Steve Dowling of Oklahoma City, grandchildren; Scott Tims of Stillwater, Brian Tims of Tulsa, Shelly Fry of Hominy, Kelly Griffin of Oklahoma City, Lindsey Griffin of Stillwater and five great grandchildren. Graveside services 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2003 at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
