Joe Thompson

PERRYTON - Joe Thompson, 57, of Farnsworth, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 
1999.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in First Christian Church of 
Perryton with the Rev. Marlon Sparks of Victory Family Church and Dr. 
Jeff Knighton, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial 
will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of 
Perryton.

Mr. Thompson was born in Wichita, Kan., and graduated from Oklahoma 
State University. A longtime area resident, he was owner/operator of 
Batman Grain Co., in Farnsworth. He was a member of Victory Family 
Church.

He married Janet Bunstine in 1969 at Edmond, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Amanda Thompson of Tulsa; a 
son Joel Thompson of Perryton; and a sister, Cass Thompson of 
Houston.

The family suggest memorials be to Boys Ranch.
