Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Channing Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Miller, pastor of South Georgia Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mrs. Threet was born Dec. 26, 1929, in Oklahoma City. She had lived in Claude for more than 30 years and for a brief time in Amarillo. She was married to Don Threet who preceded her in death. She had worked as a drapery seamstress for much of her life before her retirement. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and was a Baptist. Survivors include a sister, Mittie Smith of Andrews; a brother, J.R. Blackwell of Amarillo; a niece, Janie Blackwell; a great-niece, Jelee Dawn Blackwell; several nephews; and her closest friend, Pat Hall of Claude. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. The body will be available for viewing today in Claude.
