All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Westlawn Memorial Park--Borger TX Jack Roosevelt Tadlock BORGER - Jack Roosevelt Tadlock, 66, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Ruby Queen of Abundant Life Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Prayer in Westlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Tadlock was born in Oklahoma City. In 1938, he moved to Borger, where he worked in the oil fields, graduated from Borger High School in 1952 and attended Frank Phillips College. He traveled around the world drilling oil and gas wells, returned to Borger in 1968 and bought Mobil Oil Wholesale. He acquired a fleet of trucks, a silver mine in Elko, Nev., and a sawmill in Valiant, Okla. He married Jean Blackshear in 1969 at Clayton, N.M. His son, Jack Lavoy Tadlock, died in 1970. Survivors include his wife; a son, Roy Dale Tadlock of Borger; two daughters, Tamra McKinney of Borger and Tina Tadlock of Irving; his mother, Edna Tadlock of Borger; a sister, Mary Jean Gaines of Mission Vieja, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
