Thompson, Melanie Jane

Melanie Jane Thompson, 50, went to her peace Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002. 
She passed quietly and peacefully at her home. Surviving to love her 
throughout eternity is her husband, Terry Thompson of Jacksonville; 
daughter, Erika Thompson of Jacksonville; son, Kevin Spencer of 
Oklahoma City; mother-in law, Evelyn Thompson of El Reno, OK; 
brother-in-law and his wife, Preston and Marty Thompson of OKC; and a 
multitude of loving friends, acquaintances and associates. Memorial 
services were held Wed., November 20, at the Community Hospice of 
Northeast Florida chapel, officiated by Hospice Chaplain Heide Davis. 
A celebration of her life was also held in her home Sat., Nov. 23. 
Those wishing to honor Melanie's life and friendship may make 
donations in her memory to Baptist Health Foundation, c/o Baptist 
Cancer Center, 1235 San Marco Boulevard, Suite 3, Jacksonville, FL 
32207. Services under the direction and care of Quinn-Shalz. A family 
funeral home & cremation centre, 904-249-1100.
