Thompson, 89, of Mesa, AZ passed away August 19, 2007. She was born on February 17, 1918 in Aspen, CO. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1939 and married Jack Pearson. In 1949, she moved to California and married Fred Thompson. She made her final move to Arizona in 2003. Violet is survived by her son, Earl (Alma) Pearson; grandchildren: Sharon Wilson, Susan Praye, and Carolyn Trombi; step- grandchildren: Cindy Silas, Judy Arthur, and Pamela Howard; 6 great grandchildren, 10 step-great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2007 from 5-7:00 PM at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald in Mesa. Interment will be in Sacramento, CA.
