Webb, 82, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2005, at a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Saginaw United Methodist Church. Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Mr. Webb, a World War II veteran, was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., and had lived in this area since 1968. He was a pressman for a number of years prior to 1974 for several area newspapers, including the Fort Worth Star- Telegram, and retired in the early 1990s from the U.S. Postal Service. He was an ordained Baptist minister and was a member of Disabled American Veterans. He was preceded in death by a son, James Curtis Webb, and a daughter, Cherlyn J. Porter. Survivors: Daughter, Christal Garcia of Corsicana; sons, Ted Webb of Saginaw and Johnny VanSyckle of Benbrook; sisters, Lylous Riley of Childress and Norma Koch of Blanchard, Okla.; grandchildren, Michael Hansen, Sloane Hansen, Johanna Grigsby, Shawn VanSyckle, James Curtis Webb, Kristy Webb, James Clay Webb, Kinnny Webb and Erin Smith; and 11 great-grandchildren.
