She died unexpectedly after undergoing surgery earlier in the week. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Wyatt and Alma Pool July 23, 1922. She attended Jackson Junior High School and Capitol Hill High School. While a student at Capitol Hill she met and married Willard Morton Woods, the man who would be her loving and faithful husband for the next 62 years. During World War II, while her husband served our country in the United States Navy, she served on the home front helping to construct air craft. But she is best remembered for living the life to which she was called, a loving and devoted Christian wife, mother and homemaker. Along the way she helped her husband establish and run a successful plumbing business. She also felt called to serve her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a charter member of two Oklahoma City churches, Mayfair Baptist Church and Village Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school classes during her steadfast membership. Earline led an energetic positive life enjoying decorating, gardening, quilting and traveling with her husband and family. She leaves her husband Willard, a sister Carol Tatum, three daughters, Alma Kaderli, Janice Eck and Dian Glazier, a son, Dr. Willard Woods, Jr., 13 grand children and 17 great grandchildren and numerous friends. Services will be conducted Monday, April 28, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Mayfair Baptist Church in Oklahoma City with graveside services to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery at 13400 North Kelley in Oklahoma City.
