Wiley was born September 10, 1941 in Parker, OK to Ciria Wiley and James Wiley. He married Rebecca Moser on April 15, 1964. They had two children, William Wiley of Oklahoma City and Angela Ports of El Reno. Jim had five grandchildren, Amanda, Adam, Kathryn, Jennifer and Kelly and one great granddaughter, Daphney. He held many family members close to his heart, including his mother-in-law, Jean Moser and sister-in-law, Claudia Houtz, both of Cyril, OK; three sisters, Virginia Gentry of OKC, Leko Bueno of Lawton and Lela Bluemond and her husband Ed Bluemond of Chicago, IL. He also had one brother, John Wiley and wife Lynn of Seattle, WA. He also loved numerous nieces and nephews. Jim also had many friends. Jim served in the National Guard from 1963 to 1970 where he was a Sergeant in the 45th Infantry. Jim was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and was the athletic coordinator for Rosary School for many years. He loved traveling with his wife to Las Vegas and made many trips there with her for the last 18 years. Jim loved life and enjoyed his family. After a long fight with cancer, Jim died on August 18, 2005 at his home. He was holding his wife's hand as he had been doing for the past 44 years. He will be missed by many people. An Evening Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2005 at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2005 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1901 NW 18th St.. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at the 1st Christian Church of Cyril, OK with burial to follow at Celestial Gardens Cemetery. SMITH & KERNKE 1401 NW 23rd ST.
